Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Athens Concert reviews
Good but not great
I am a huge fan of Bowie since 1983, so I was excited.
The orchestra was superb! I wish they had a bit more dominant role in this show, but unfortunately the band and especially the lead singer made it all about them...
The band was very professional, the lead singer had a decent voice, a good performer, however all his talking in between songs was annoying... we all know Mr. Bowie and will cherish him forever, and don'r really need to hear his stories that were average at the best... it is not like Iggy pop is telling us about his meetings with Bowie.
